Young Scientist Meet
You are invited to participate in the Online Young Scientist Meetup Photophysics of Metal Halide Perovskite: From Materials to Devices (PMHP-2020). It will take place on Monday July 06th, 2020 at 10:00 A.M IST (4:30 A.M. UTC).
Organic–inorganic halide perovskite solar cells have been the most significant development in the field of photovoltaics in the present decade. As the field matures, a clear understanding of the fundamental photophysical processes and the basic working mechanisms in these perovskite solar cells become increasingly important for further improvements of their PCEs.
This meetup aims to bring together young scientists from various backgrounds to present and discuss their work on photophysical properties of perovskite materials and devices. Eminent experts from the field will discuss about different charge transport mechanism and photophysical phenomena for different dimensional perovskites. In particular, our aim is to provide a platform for young professionals in the field to share their research and network globally, thus inspiring new research ideas and promote collaborations across all sub-fields. Join us for what promises to be an exciting meeting!
Topics to be covered by the conference:
- Fundamental photophysics in perovskite materials and devices
- Charge carrier dynamics
- Photophysics in 2D perovskites, perovskite single crystals and perovskite nanocrystals.
- Emerging phenomena in perovskites
PMHP-2020 is an online workshop that aims to promote ideas and discussion about fundamental photophysical phenomena in different perovskite materials and devices that impact their efficiency and stability. Enthusiastic young scientists across the globe can join the conference through their mobile, desktop computer or laptop. This will not only help to keep all of us engaged up to the latest discovery and happenings in the field while keeping social distancing and safety measures, but will also pave a new platform of exchanging ideas while reducing global carbon footprint.
The workshop will consist of two parts:
- The Oral Session will consist a few short broadcasted talks led by Invited Speakers following questions and answers.
- After the oral presentation, there will be e-Poster Session, where attendees can share their ideas through a chat.
- e-Poster submission deadline: 30th June 2020
How to join the online conference?

We will have limited seats and therefore everyone is requested to register early. We will send a confirmation email. All the participants will be given digital Certificate.
Present your work: e-Poster Submission
The e-Poster will be available in the registration link (you need to be registered to see this section). You can either submit the abstract for e-poster or complete e-poster itself by 30th June and the decision will be intimated by 2nd July.
Invited talk Sessions:
Participants will receive an invitation to join the Zoom session 15 minutes before the start of the event. The oral session will consist of presentations with slides played while the speaker is talking on a specific topic for about 25 min following Q&A for 5 mins.
Joining in e-Poster session:
The invitation to join the e-Poster Chat platform will be sent by email before the event. You can upload and engage in e-Poster discussion by accessing the chatrooms at any time (see the conference timeline). The official e-Poster Session will start after the Oral Sessions.
Join the e-Poster Chat room by using the anonymous button, and put your name so that other can recognize you.
